PHMG Fall Top 25 Players Led by Largo’s Anthony Harris and Calvary Christian’s Michael Ionata

The fall football season in Pinellas County is underway, and PHMG’s Top 25 list returns with a spotlight on the area’s elite talent. Leading the way is Anthony Harris, a dynamic athlete from Largo known for his explosive speed, highlight-reel touchdowns, and breakaway runs that can change a game in an instant. Harris is one of the most electrifying players in the county, capable of taking it the distance every time he touches the ball.

In the trenches, Michael Ionata of Calvary Christian headlines the list as our top offensive lineman for the second year in a row. The Florida State commit brings dominant power and polished technique to the offensive front, protecting quarterbacks and opening lanes for runners with ease. His leadership and experience make him one of the most valuable players in the region.

This year’s Top 25 showcases a mix of standout seniors and breakout underclassmen, reflecting the deep pool of talent across Pinellas County. With Harris and Ionata at the forefront, the 2025 season is set to be one to remember.

PHMG will continue to highlight the players, plays, and programs shaping the high school football scene all season long.

Anthony Harris has been on our radar ever since he had a breakout game against Clearwater Central Catholic his freahman year. He has been an consistent 1,000 all purpose yard player the last 2 seasons
