Dominance on the Court: Pinellas County Girls Basketball Showed Up Again This Season
Our first year of coverage in the Pinellas County Girls basketball season was one of true reward and with that it's now time to honor the standouts amongst the many awesome players and coaches. After careful consideration we broke down our 1st team and named our Coach Of The Year. We will be presenting our Player Of The Year award within the next two weeks but for now here is our Top 5 lady ballers and top coach.
Coach Of The Year: Necole Tunsil, Lakewood
The leader of our #1 team in Pinellas County, Coach Tunsil is a community staple since her playing days and her coaching success is no surprise. The hard work of her team fits her personality and Lakewood should continue their success going into next season with her top players Lovett and McIntosh returning to lead.

Shooting Guard: Ava Graham (Keswick Christian)

Ava Graham, with her exceptional scoring ability and defensive prowess, led Keswick Christian to a successful 23-5 season. Averaging 21.4 points, 3.8 assists, 5.6 rebounds, 2.8 steals, and 0.3 blocks per game, she was a key player in every aspect of the game as she became Keswick's All-Time Scoring Leader
Forward Mikayla Paschal (Largo High School)

Mikayla Paschal's leadership and all-around skills were instrumental in Largo High School's performance this season. Averaging 21.9 points, 0.7 assists, 8.7 rebounds, 1.6 steals, and 0.6 blocks per game, she made a significant impact on both ends of the court and despite Largo only seeing an 8-13 record , Paschal has made herself the ultimate piece to build around for the Packers moving into next season
Guard: Alahni Lovett (Lakewood High School)

Alahni Lovett showcased her versatility and basketball IQ at Lakewood High School. Averaging 20.5 points, 3.3 assists, 2.5 rebounds, 3.4 steals, and 0.5 blocks per game, her contributions were crucial to her team's 23-5 record along with a Final Four appearance. Lakewood remained #1 in our polls throughout the entire season. The Junior will be back next year along with defensive star Sumayah McIntosh. Lovett was recently named PCAC Player Of The Year
Guard: Allevia Williams (Clearwater High School)

Sophmore Allevia Williams' exceptional skills and determination were evident at Clearwater High School. Averaging 17.3 points, 1 assist, 1.3 rebounds, and 2.3 steals per game, she made significant contributions to her team's performance. Her along with Pink Sturdivant will provide a solid foundation for the Tornadoes to possibly make a playoff run next year.
Forward: Ellie Bross (Calvary Christian)

Ellie Bross' talent and dedication were on full display at Calvary Christian. Averaging an impressive 22.4 points, 2.3 assists, 14.5 rebounds, 4.5 steals, and 2 blocks per game as a freshman, she was a dominant force in every aspect of the game.
