Austin Ho, standing at 5'8" and 170 lbs, is set to make waves as Calvary Christian's #1 receiver this season. With 92 catches, 1,346 yards, and 13 touchdowns over the last two seasons, Ho is no stranger to success on the field. Formerly the #2 receiver behind standout Josh Robinson, and with his quarterback Jacob Drackett now at the Air Force Academy, Ho is ready to step into the spotlight and lead his team. Recognized as the Pinellas High School Media Group's (PHMG) #1 receiver for spring, his potential is highly anticipated.

**Embracing the Role as the #1 Receiver**

"I'm excited to take on the role as the #1 target this year," Ho shared. "I believe I will get more opportunities to make a big impact and be the playmaker I am." This confidence and readiness to seize the moment demonstrate Ho's commitment to elevating his game and leading his team.

**Chemistry with Teammates**

Ho had a remarkable connection with Drackett, both on and off the field. However, he's also looking forward to continuing his partnership with Keoni, his new quarterback. "I've played football with Keoni since we were six years old, so we've been building chemistry ever since," Ho explained. This long-standing relationship bodes well for Calvary Christian's offensive prospects.

**Learning from the Best**

Reflecting on his time playing alongside Josh Robinson, Ho noted, "It was great to play alongside Josh. He was one of the best receivers I've ever played with and one of my best friends. We learned that we had to adapt to environments and to walk onto every field knowing no one could guard us." These lessons have undoubtedly shaped Ho into the confident and adaptable player he is today.

**Leadership and Team Preparation**

As a senior leader, Ho plans to set the standard for his team. "I plan to lead by example and make sure all of not only our 1s are game-ready but our 2s and 3s. Nelson and I plan to lead this team with a winning mindset and positive attitude," he said. This emphasis on preparation and positivity is crucial for a successful season.

**Goals and Aspirations**

Ho has set ambitious personal goals for the upcoming season. "I first of all want to break the record for touchdowns (13) and break the record for receiving yards (1,083 yards). I also want to achieve a 3.8 GPA and continue to build relationships with my teammates and coaches," he shared. These goals reflect his drive both on and off the field, aiming for excellence in all areas of his life.

With his skills, leadership, and determination, Austin Ho is poised to lead Calvary Christian to a successful season and make his mark as their top receiver.
